Chobi rugs have a rich lineage rooted in Persian, Turkman and Afghan cultures. Woven in the Peshawar region of Pakistan, these rugs reflect the rugged terrain they are manufactured in. In fact, the word “Chobi” signifies colors of wood. So, it is highly significant that the majority of Chobi rugs have brownish hue.
