About the collection: William Morris spent a lifetime drawing inspiration from the natural world, capturing the beauty of tangled branches, blooming flowers, and birds in motion in ways that went far beyond mere decoration. At LoomBloom, we asked what would happen if his designs were translated into rugs that you could actually walk on, and the answer is this unique collection. Each piece begins with Morris’s botanical language layered foliage, mirrored birds, and endlessly looping vines and is transformed into hand-hooked wool using our signature loop-and-cut pile technique. Where Morris’s work was confined to ink and dye on flat surfaces, our artisans sculpt each rug in three dimensions, varying the loop and cut to differentiate petals from leaves and stems from backgrounds, producing a textured surface with depth that shifts with natural light. The collection comes in seven colorways, ranging from a near-black garden dense with deep greens and coral roses to a soft antique-white canvas accented with powder-blue birds and warm terracotta blooms, offering options for both dramatic and serene interiors. The careful variation of loop-to-cut pile allows botanical areas to subtly shine, flower heads to feel plush and soft, and stems to rise and fall, creating rugs that reflect Morris’s original artistry with dynamic shadow, light, and dimensionality.
